#372, Keep The Right Perspective

David said in the Psalms, “Magnify the Lord with me.” When you magnify something, you don’t the size of it, you change your perspective about it. David was in effect saying, “Don’t magnify your problems. Magnify your God!”

When you’re in tough times it’s good to look back over your life and remember all the things that God has brought you through. Remember the times God made a way when you didn’t see any way. Remember the times God protected you and supernaturally opened doors. This is what they did all throughout the Bible. When they had an adversity they’d say, “God, we remember how You fed us out in the wilderness. We remember how You parted the Red Sea. We remember how You protected us from our enemies.” They chose to keep the right perspective. And sometimes, it’s not easy when the storms of life are raging, but check yourself. What kind of attitude do you have towards adversity? Are you talking to God about how big your problems are? Or are you talking to your problems about how big your God is?

Choose today to have the right perspective. Your challenge is temporary and your challenge is going to take you to a higher level. Everything that you’re facing is subject to change. God is still on the throne. He still has you in the palm of His hand. He promised that when you go through the fire, He'll bring you out without even having the smell of smoke. If you'll choose the right perspective by magnifying God and not your problems, He promised He'll fight your battles for you. He’ll turn every negative situation around. He’ll bring you out with the victory every single time!
