Marcos is also the founder of CanZion Institute, a school dedicated to the preparation of worship leaders and music ministers.
Today there are over 3,000 students attending the 28 campuses of the Institute in 10 different countries throughout the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
In September 2002, Marcos was appointed the Senior Pastor of the Hispanic congregation at Lakewood Church.
The Hispanic congregation of Lakewood Church has an active and growing congregation of more than 4,000 people and a TV program which airs every week in over 20 countries and can be watched live on the internet.
His most recent recording titled "Dios es Bueno" (God is Good) has the distinction of being the first recording outside Mexico or the US. It was recorded in Puerto Rico which is known for it's enthusiastic music. The album includes rhythms such as bachata, reggeaton and rock.
